Guidelines
The StoryCorps DIY Logo is available to for your organization to use per the
following guidelines and the StoryCorps DIY Terms of Use.
If you wish to reference StoryCorps in any of your materials, make sure to
clearly state that your project is independent of StoryCorps. Permitted
promotional language includes:
[PROJECT] was designed/created using StoryCorps DIY. Learn more at
storycorps.org.
[PROJECT] is an independently organized program, inspired by
StoryCorps.
In order to avoid confusion, we do not allow co-branding beyond use of the
StoryCorps DIY Logo. The StoryCorps Logo may not be used in
communications or branding of the project to imply or directly communicate
that StoryCorps is a presenter of the event.
For example, organizers are not permitted to say: “STORYCORPS is coming to
(my city)…” Make clear in all communications that your local project is an
independently organized activity, and is not STORYCORPS. Make clear that you
are not an employee of STORYCORPS.
